My first marketing job was in research, working on brands like Pepsi and Panadol.
Then I became a copywriter and produced work for Volkswagen and Ready Brek at Doyle Dane Bernbach.
I spent nearly twenty years as a Creative Director of three UK agencies. Along with my business partners, I started my own advertising agency, Different. It became one of the UK's top 100 (Source: Campaign magazine).
I have also written and produced various TV programmes for ITV and FIVE, and created an award-winning cross-platform novel called Shuffle. The thriller, City of Ghosts, I wrote with FT journalist Barney Thompson under the pen-name Ben Creed was a Times ‘Thriller of the Year,’ and shortlisted for the Crime Writers’ Association’s Gold Dagger. Its sequel, A Traitor’s Heart, was one of the thrillers of the month in the FT.
Man of Bones, the third in the series of Ben Creed books, is out now.
